John V. Coletto, a loving husband, dedicated father, and cherished brother, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026, at the age of 70. Born in Brooklyn New York, on November 23, 1955, to his parents John and Viola Coletto. He embodied the virtues of kindness and laughter throughout his life, leaving behind memories that will forever warm the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. John’s career as a Boiler Mechanic for Petro highlighted not only his strong work ethic but also his aptitude for finding joy in the everyday tasks of life.

His character was defined by a blend of humor and an unwavering love for his family, qualities that endeared him to everyone around him. John approached life with a smile, fully embracing the simple pleasures it offered. He was particularly known for his love of Italian dinners on Sundays, moments that created bonds and memories over cherished meals filled with warmth and laughter.

John's wisdom was evident in the way he nurtured those he loved. He thoroughly enjoyed cheeseburgers and was an avid fan of the History Channel, sharing these small joys with those close to him. He was a beacon of gratitude and happiness, inspiring those around him to also appreciate life’s simple treasures.

John leaves behind his beloved wife, Maria Balzano Coletto, and his adoring daughters, Gianna Coletto and Daniella Coletto, who filled his days with love, laughter, and pride. He is also survived by his dear brother, Frank Coletto, and his sister, Frances Giorgio, who were integral parts of his life’s journey. Together, they shared a bond that transcended time, filled with laughter and unconditional support.

In his passing, John leaves a legacy of love and devotion that will resonate through the lives of those he touched.
