Johnny was born on April 7, 1978, in Plainview, N.Y. He graduated from West Islip High School in 1996 and soon began his career at Island Pump and Tank, where he was a valued employee for twenty years. Known for his “can-do” attitude, he excelled as a service technician and was respected for his strong work ethic and trustworthy character. He was held in such high regard that many clients specifically requested him to service their facilities, confident that the job would be completed efficiently and promptly.
Some of Johnny’s happiest moments were spent on the water along the South Shore of Long Island, surrounded by family and friends. Whether he was boating, jet-skiing, relaxing at the marina, heading to Fire Island, or enjoying a casual barbecue, those simple moments brought him immense joy. His love for that way of life ran so deep that he chose to make his home along the Patchogue River, where the water was always close and every day felt a little more like the moments he treasured most.
Johnny loved to travel, and no place made him happier than the islands of Hawaii, where he cherished the time he spent visiting with family. Hawaii was more than a destination to Johnny—it was a place where he felt truly at peace and deeply content.
Johnny was a truly lovable person whose warmth and kindness were felt by everyone he met. He had an easy smile, a generous heart, and an infectious laugh. He will be remembered for the love he shared so freely and the lives he touched along the way.
