Joseph T. “Joe” Dimino, born August 10, 1949, passed away on December 12, 2025.
Joe lived life with a soundtrack—especially the music of the 1950s and 60s. He loved doo-wop, and could never get enough of artists like Dion, Jackie Wilson, and Little Richard. That music often filled the house while he cooked, doing what he enjoyed most: making something delicious and turning the volume up (the louder, the better).
Joe also loved a good night at the theater and appreciated the simple joy of being out in the world. He was happiest outdoors, hunting and bringing the kids along to the “woods parks,” sharing his love of nature and time together. Long before everyone had a camera in their pocket, Joe was the one capturing family moments—always taking pictures, always preserving the memories.
Joe is survived by his children: Joe and his wife Crissy Dimino, Tony and his wife Holly Dimino, and Jen Dimino and her fiancé Edward Faubert. He was a proud grandfather to his granddaughters, Anna and Penelope. He is also remembered fondly by his sister, Joan Fenske, as well as his nephews; Chris and his children, and James, his wife Suzy, and their children.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Visitation services to honor Joe's life will be held at Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island, located at 640 Middle Country Rd, Middle Island, NY 11953, on December 19, 2025, starting at 10 a.m. and concluding at noon.
