Josephine Castelli
March 19, 1915 — March 26, 2016
Died peacefully on Saturday, March 26, 2016 surrounded by her family and loved ones. Josephine passed one week after her 101st Birthday. She is survived by her son, Salvatore Castelli, her daughter, Maria Castelli-Bowers, and her grandchildren Jennifer Celella (Carl), Laura Castelli, Henry Bowers, Vincent Castelli, Matthew Castelli, and great-grandson Richard VanAlystne Jr., with another great-grandson on the way. She was predeceased by her loving husband Vincent Castelli.
Josephine was a devoted wife, dedicated mother and loving grandmother. She will be remembered for her devotion to family, her amazing cooking and her fiery spirit that will continue to live in all those that knew her, and in our traditional Castelli Sunday dinners.
