Kathryn D. Cohen, born on May 14, 1939, in Queens, New York, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026, in Bay Shore, New York. Kathryn lived a life marked by love, resilience, and devotion to her family, touching everyone around her with kindness and grace.

Kathryn was the cherished daughter of Joseph and Julia, both of whom preceded her in death. A devoted mother, Kathryn leaves behind her loving daughters, Julia and Theresa (Harry), who were constant sources of pride and joy in her life. Her legacy further continues through her beloved grandchildren, Alida, Kathryn (John), and Lauren (Justin), whose lives she nurtured and enriched with her wisdom and unwavering encouragement. Kathryn’s impact extends to the next generation as well, with her great-grandchildren, Scarlett and Autumn, who brought her immense happiness and laughter.

Those wishing to honor Kathryn’s memory are invited to attend the services celebrating her life and legacy. A Mass will be held on June 29, 2026, at 10:15 a.m. at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, located at 125 Half Hollow Rd., Deer Park, NY 11729. Following the Mass, Kathryn will be laid to rest at Holy Rood Cemetery, 111 Old Country Road Westbury, NY, Westbury, NY 11590.
