Kenneth Bonavoglia, a beloved member of North Babylon, New York, passed away on October 27, 2023. Born on May 6, 1942, in Brooklyn, New York, to Genario and Anna Bonavoglia.
Kenneth completed his education with a high school diploma and went on to pursue his passion for plumbing. Kenneth was known for his career as a plumber in the Local 001 Union - Long Island City, New York. He dedicated himself to his profession, diligently serving the community with expertise and commitment.
Outside of work, Kenneth found immense fulfillment in spending time with his wife Catherine (Nee: Iacona) Bonavoglia, their daughters AnnMarie (Mark) Wroblewski, Christine (Edward) Grunwald, and Lauren (Christopher) Jacobi, as well as their grandchildren Andrew (Emily), Amanda, Jessica, Raegan, and Rylie. Family was at the center of Kenneth's world, and he cherished every moment shared with them. He was cherished by his beloved brothers, Michael (Janice) and Edmund, and sister Regina with whom he shared countless memories. He was a devoted uncle to his many nieces and nephews, and a cherished brother-in-law to Josephine and Carmine.
Kenneth was a man of many endearing qualities. Known for his sense of humor, he had an innate ability to make others laugh and bring joy to any situation. His warmth and wit endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In honor of Kenneth's remarkable life, funeral services will be held at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Pk Ave in Deer Park, New York. The visitation is scheduled on Wednesday, November 1st from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. These services provide an opportunity for family members and friends to pay their respects and celebrate the memories they shared with Kenneth. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday November 2, 2023 at Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church at 10:00AM, with final interment at St. Charles Cemetery to follow.
Kenneth Bonavoglia will be deeply missed by his surviving family, which includes his wife Catherine, daughters AnnMarie, Christine, and Lauren, along with their spouses and children. Kenneth's legacy of laughter, dedication, and love will continue to be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
As we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate the precious moments we shared with him and find solace in the memories that will forever live in our hearts.
