Kim M. Scheriff

Kim M. Scheriff, of Deer Park, New York, passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on June 3, 1959, in Queens, New York, Kim lived a life marked by kindness, care for others, and deep devotion to her family.

Kim was a high school graduate and went on to serve as a recreation aide at East Neck Nursing Home. In that role, she brought compassion and steady care to those around her, reflecting the same warmth that defined her throughout her life. She was known as a kind and caring woman who adored her family, and some of her happiest times were those spent with her grandchildren.

Above all, Kim’s family was the center of her world. She is survived by her beloved spouse, Ralph Scheriff; her sons, John Scheriff and his wife Christine, Joseph Scheriff and his wife Laura, and Jason Scheriff; and her grandsons, Philip and Bradley. The love she shared with them was a lasting gift, and her presence in their lives will continue to be felt in treasured memories, quiet moments, and the bonds she helped nurture.

Kim was preceded in death by her father, Anthony, and her mother, Helen.

She will be remembered with love for her gentle heart, her caring spirit, and the joy she found in being with the people she loved most. Her memory will remain a blessing to all who knew her.

There will be a celebration of life service at the Syosset Gospel Church located at 266 Jackson Ave, Syosset NY 11791 at 11am on Saturday October 24th with a luncheon to follow.
