It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Larry Forman, a cherished son, nephew, cousin, and beloved friend, who left this world on August 25, 2025, at the age of 56. Larry was born on April 24, 1969, in West Islip, NY, and spent his life creating connections and sharing his passions with those around him.
Larry's professional life as a Business Analyst showcased his analytical skills and dedication, but his heart belonged to music. He was not just a fan but a talented musician himself, playing in a heavy metal band named Jackpipe, for about 15 years. Larry's love for music, particularly the band Kiss, defined much of his character. His friends and family often noted his infectious sense of humor, which brought joy to every gathering and created lasting memories.
Outside of his career and musical pursuits, Larry held a profound love for his family and enjoyed spending time at Lake George, where he embraced nature and created joyful moments with loved ones.
Larry is survived by his devoted mother, Donna Marques, and his supportive uncle, Don Gocinski. He is also remembered fondly by his aunt, Jane Gocinski, and many cousins, including Jillian and Brian Sutton, Katelyn Sutton, Sean Sutton, Jack Sutton, Donnie and Dana Gocinski, who will miss his vibrant spirit and humor greatly.
He is predeceased by his step-father, Joseph Marques, his grandparents, Maria and Donald Gocinski, his aunt Teri Gocinski, as well as his cousin, Sarah Sutton.
Visitation for Larry Forman will take place at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Pk Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729, on August 29, 2025. Visitors are welcome from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and then again from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A burial service will follow on August 30, 2025, at Saint Charles Cemetery, located at 2015 Wellwood Ave, East Farmingdale, NY 11735.
Larry's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, music, and an unwavering love for his family and friends. He shall be missed dearly.
