Leon A. Diaferio

Leon A. Diaferio passed away on September 20, 2026, in Port Jefferson, New York. He was born on August 4, 1962, on Long Island, New York. 

Leon will be remembered with love by his family and by those who had the privilege of knowing him. He is survived by many loving family members, who carry forward his memory with enduring love. May the remembrance of Leon bring comfort to all who mourn his passing and peace in the days ahead. Leon was a hardworking man, who drove trucks for many years. He adored his friends and family and enjoyed joking with them. In his free time, Leon enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle, a Harley Davidson.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a Memorial Visitation on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island, 640 Middle Country Road, Middle Island, New York 11953. A Prayer Service will be held there at 4:00 p.m.
