Leonard D'Angelo, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on October 25, 1932, in Italy. He established a commendable career as a self-employed craftsman. Over the years, his expertise and commitment to his trade earned him the respect of many in his community.
Leonard was not only known for his skillful work but also for the kindness and caring nature that he brought into his interactions with others. His personality shone through in every aspect of his life, making him a beloved figure to those fortunate enough to know him.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Leonard proudly served in the U.S. Army, contributing to his country with honor. His dedication was matched only by his devotion to family, who remained central to his life.
Leonard is survived by his loving children: Anthony D'Angelo and his wife Elizabeth, Diane Dente and her husband Albert, and Thomas D'Angelo and his wife Noreen. He also leaves behind a rich legacy of love through six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation services will be held at the Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY, on Sunday, December 7, 2025. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during two visitation sessions, the first from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
