Ligia M. Pulido

It is with profound respect and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Ligia M. Pulido, who departed this life on April 29, 2026. Born on December 18, 1934, in Bogota, Colombia, Ligia was a treasured soul whose kindness and caring nature profoundly touched all who knew her. She cherished her family dearly and was known for her unwavering devotion to their happiness and well-being.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Carlos Pulido; her loving daughter Lauren Pulido and son-in-law Jerry Leonard; and her cherished son, Harry Pulido and the numerous grandchildren who brought joy to her later years: Matthew Leonard, Andrew Leonard, Michelle Pulido, Jessica Pulido, Catharine Pulido, and Michael Pulido. Each of these family members held a special place in her heart, and her legacy of love will live on through them.

The family will honor Ligia’s memory with a series of services beginning with visitations at Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Pk Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729, on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, and again from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A Mass celebrating her life will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 10:45 AM at St. Matthew RC Church, 35 North Service Road, Dix Hills, NY 11746.

Ligia M. Pulido’s legacy of kindness, steadfast love, and family devotion will forever be remembered and treasured. Through her family’s memories and the lives she touched, her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift all who had the privilege to know her.
