Born on October 27, 1931, in Pirmasens, Germany, Lilly’s life spanned nearly a century, witnessing profound moments of history and change. Her journey from her birthplace in Germany to her final days in New York reflects a life that was both rich in experience and meaningful in connection.

Lilly was the beloved wife of the late Richard M. Keenan, whose memory she cherished throughout her years. She was a devoted mother to her children, maintaining deep bonds of love and commitment. She is survived by her son, Richard M. Keenan, Jr., whose life continues to reflect her kindness and guidance, and by her son-in-law, Duncan Fitzgerald, who was part of her cherished family.

Lilly was preceded in death by her dear daughter, Patricia Fitzgerald, as well as her father, Walter Hildebrand, and her mother, Herta Hildeband. The loss of these close family members deeply affected Lilly, yet she carried their memories forward with unwavering grace and dignity.
