Louise Piazza, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away on December 2, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on May 20, 1948, in Brooklyn, New York, Louise was known for her warmth, infectious spirit, and unwavering dedication to those she loved.
After graduating high school, Louise took great pride in her career as a clerk typist for the Deer Park School District for 28 years, where she developed cherished friendships that enriched her life and the lives of those around her. Her colleagues remember her fondly for her kindness and the joy she brought to the workplace.
An ardent supporter of the New York Mets, Louise carried her passion for the team with a pride that inspired those around her. Beyond her love of baseball, she deeply cherished her family. Louise was especially devoted to her 2 sons Frank and Lou, as well as her grandson Frankie who brought her immense joy and happiness throughout her life.
Louise's vibrant personality shone through in her many interests. She was a lover of dance, reveling in the rhythm and joy that music brought into her life. A particular favorite was the smooth sounds of the Beatles and Andy Williams, whose music she enjoyed wholeheartedly. Moreover, Louise maintained a close bond with her sisters—Millie, Rosie, and the late Jeanne—each of whom played an integral role in her life, creating a tapestry of shared memories and love.
Louise Piazza leaves behind her loving family, including her sons, Frank and his wife Darlene Piazza, and Lou and his wife Cheryl. Her legacy will continue through them, along with her cherished grandson, Frankie. She also leaves behind her sisters Millie and Rosie. Louise is predeceased by her sister Jeanne. As we remember Louise, we celebrate a woman who enriched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 4PM to 8PM. A funeral mass will be held the following day on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 9:30AM at Ss. Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church. A burial will follow immediately after at Saint Charles Cemetery. Family and friends who wish to attend the funeral are asked to meet at the funeral home by 8:30AM.
