Madeline "Lana" Tramparulo

August 10, 1940 — June 13, 2026

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our mother, Madeline "Lana" Tramparulo. A beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026, in West Babylon, NY. Born on August 10, 1940, in Manhattan, NY, Lana lived a life filled with love, family, and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Lana was a remarkable woman—smart, kind, and sweet, embodying the true spirit of an Italian “Ma”. Lana’s heart beat strongest for her family. It completed her in ways words barely capture. To her, family was everything, and being a grandmother brought her the deepest joy. Her six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren were the center of her world, completing the beautiful legacy she nurtured with such care and affection. They brought her unparalleled happiness, completing her heart and soul.

Lana was stylish with panache and had an eye for decorating, qualities that only added to her radiant personality. Her marriage of 57 years stood as a testament to her devotion and love alongside her spouse, The Late Paul, with whom she also shared a passion for travel.

Lana was renowned for her exceptional culinary talents. A wonderful cook, especially during the holidays, she thrilled family and friends with dishes representing all the regions and baked the best cheesecake—a skill that brought everyone to the table with smiles and gratitude. Her cooking was not just a hobby but an expression of her love, a gift she treasured giving to those she adored.

Throughout her life, Lana was a gifted supervisor of a utility call center, where her leadership and warm nature made a lasting impression on colleagues.

Her family includes her loving daughter Gina (Bill) Schneyer, sons George, Ralph, and Paul (Josephine), and daughter Paula Mauro. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren whose lives she enriched with boundless affection.
