Marcella Bernstein

Marcella Bernstein passed away on September 25, 2026, at the age of 83.

Born on March 27, 1943, in Amityville, New York, to her parents Clifford and Theresa Peisker, Marcella lived a life marked by devotion to her family and steady dedication in her work. She earned her high school diploma and went on to work as a book keeper, bringing care and commitment to her profession.

Marcella will be remembered with love by her family. She is survived by her daughter, Christine and her husband Paul Wyhowanec; her son, Robert and his wife Colleen Bernstein, and her son, Kevin Bernstein. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, as well as her sister Almira, and her brother Clifford, all of whom carry forward her memory with love. Her family was a lasting source of pride and connection in her life, and those who knew her will hold close the place she held in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her father, Clifford, and her mother, Theresa.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at her visitation on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Mangano Family Funeral Home, Inc., 1701 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729. 

Closing Prayers will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM at Mangano Family Funeral Home, Inc., 1701 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729. A Mass will follow on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, 125 Half Hollow Rd., Deer Park, NY 11729. 

Burial will take place afterward from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
