Margaret Patricia Greig

Margaret Patricia Greig, born on September 15, 1945, gracefully departed from this world on July 25, 2025. She was a dedicated Office Manager for the NYC Board of Education, where she committed her professional life to serving the educational community. Her organizational skills and warm spirit made a lasting impact on those she worked with, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of diligence in her career.

Margaret was married to her loving spouse, Jack, who stood by her side through all life's journeys. She is survived by their son, Jack, and his wife, Laura; as well as their daughter, Danielle, and her husband, Matthew. Margaret was also the proud grandmother of McKenzie, John, Riley, Lola, Brody, Jack, and Owen, all of whom were sources of immense joy in her life.

Her family was her passion; Margaret instilled values of kindness and perseverance in her children and grandchildren, inspiring each of them in their own unique paths. She cherished her family gatherings, which were filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable stories that her loved ones will hold dear in their hearts.

Visitation services are set to take place at the Mangano Family Funeral Home Of Middle Island, located at 640 Middle Country Rd, Middle Island, NY 11953. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on July 30, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. The following day, July 31, 2025, visitation will continue from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, and once more from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A funeral service will be conducted on August 1, 2025, at 10:30 AM, concluding the celebration of Margaret's life.
