Maria Teresa Fischetti

Maria Teresa Fischetti, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on February 25, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on March 31, 1942, in Argentina, Maria's warmth and kindness radiated throughout her life, leaving a profound impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Maria is survived by her loving husband, Vincenzo Fischetti. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with cherished memories and unconditional love. She is also survived by her son, Nicholas Fischetti, and his wife, Dawn; her daughter, Patty Abramson and her husband, Ellis; and her daughter, Elizabeth Fischetti. Additionally, Maria was a devoted grandmother to Michael, Robert, Eric, Nicholas, Danielle, Alica, and Stephanie, and she took immense joy in being a great-grandmother to Elvis.

Maria was preceded in death by her daughter, the late Alecia Tipley, whose spirit continues to live on in the hearts of all who remember her.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the visitation services held at the Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Pk Ave, Deer Park, NY. The visitation will take place on February 28, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and continue on March 1, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A Mass in celebration of Maria's life will be held on March 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Grace R. C. Church, located at 666 Albin Ave, West Babylon, NY.

Maria Teresa Fischetti will be deeply missed, yet her legacy of love, compassion, and family unity will continue to inspire all who knew her.
