Marion V. LaRochester-Belford

Marion V. LaRochester-Belford, has passed away at the age of 82. Born on September 16, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, Marion was a kind and adored individual whose presence touched the lives of many. She lived a life filled with love and compassion and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Marion's journey as an educator began after she earned her PhD degree. She was dedicated to instilling knowledge and inspiring countless students during her career.

While Marion was undoubtedly an exceptional teacher, she cherished her role as a mother, and grandmother above all else. She found immense joy in spending time with her family and created countless cherished memories with them. Marion's children, Jon LaRochester and Meredith LaRochester, were always close to her heart. Her love expanded even further with the arrival of Michaela, her granddaughter, and Gavin, her grandson.

To honor Marion's memory and celebrate her magnificent life, a visitation service will be held on January 24th, 2024 from 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Pk Ave in Deer Park, NY. A funeral mass will be held at Ss. Cyril & Methodius R.C.C.  Deer Park, NY on Thursday, January 25, 2024 10:15 am. A burial will follow immediately after at Saint Charles Cemetery. Friends and acquaintances are welcome to pay their respects during this time. 

Marion leaves behind a rich legacy of kindness and devotion that will continue to inspire others for generations to come. While we mourn the loss of such an incredible individual, let us also celebrate the profound impact she had on the lives she touched. Her memory will forever live on in our hearts.
