Martha L. Jackson

Martha L. Jackson, born November 16, 1930, in York, South Carolina, peacefully passed away on May 30, 2026, in Port Jefferson, New York. A steadfast and dedicated individual, Martha leaves behind a legacy marked by her commitment to family and her hardworking spirit, having devoted many years as an assembly worker for Western Electric.

She was the loving daughter of the late Edward and Allie Good. Martha was twice blessed in marriage, having shared a lifetime with her late husbands, Percy Starkes and Caroll Jackson, Sr. Her warmth and strength were illuminated in the relationships she nurtured and cherished with her family.

Martha is survived by her daughters, Diana S. Jones (her husband, the late Michael Jones), and Lenora O’Neal (her husband, the late Ricky Sr.) She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Ricky Jr., Jarrell (Valerie), Rico, and Leeland, as well as a treasured great-grandchild, Andora. Their memories and love are a testament to Martha’s enduring influence.

Family, friends, and all who knew Martha are invited to pay their respects at the visitation held on June 6, 2026, at Faith Baptist Church, located at 10 Teller Ave, Coram, NY 11727, from 10:00am to 10:30am. The funeral service will commence at 10:30 a.m., also at Faith Baptist Church.

Martha L. Jackson’s story is one of resilience, devotion, and unwavering love. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who were privileged to know her.
