Marianne Koch

Marianne Koch, born on July 21, 1933, in Nassau County, New York, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2025, in West Babylon, New York. Her departure from this world marks the end of a life rich with love, devotion, and resilience.

A cherished mother, Marianne is survived by her beloved sons, Patrick Mercer (Patricia), Edward T. Mercer (Carrol), and Kevin Mercer (Christine), as well as her devoted daughter, Ann Marie (Jerry). Marianne is also survived by her loving brother, Joseph Koch, her nephew Jeffrey Koch and niece Mary Lou Weil. In Addition, Marianne was a loving and devoted Grandmother and Great Grandmother and will be missed by all. Each of them carries forward her legacy of compassion and strength.

Marianne was preceded in death by her dear son, Michael Mercer, who remains forever in the hearts of his family. The bond they shared transcends the boundaries of life and death, a testament to the profound love that Marianne fostered within her family. Her life and spirit will be honored during visitation on August 12, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Pk Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729. A Mass celebrating her life will take place on August 13, 2025, at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, beginning at 9:15 AM at 125 Half Hollow Rd., Deer Park, NY 11729.
