Mary Motlenski 1932-2025
Ann Mary Fontanelli was born in Brooklyn on December 18th, 1932. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 5th, 2025. She was 92 years of age.
Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward and her dear son, Christopher. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Cathleen and her three grandchildren, Nicholas (Nicole), Christopher (Kimberly), and Kathryn; as well as her two great-grandchildren, Mary Virginia and Ruth. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and was admired by many.
Mary was a valued member of St. Matthew’s Parish, participating in the Consolation Ministry, CCD, Rosary Society, and YES Group. She was also an avid member of her community at Quail Run, serving on the Board.
Mary dedicated her life to God and the Church, and she will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th at Mangano’s Funeral Home in Deer Park from 2:00 to 4:30 pm and 7:00 to 9:30 pm.
Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 11that St. Matthew’s Church in Dix Hills at 10:30 am. Mausoleum entombment to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Queens.
