Mary Pavao

Mary Pavao, 97, born December 16, 1928, in Rhode Island, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of August 4, 2026. She lived a long and beautiful life filled with love, family, laughter, and cherished memories.

Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who was loved by so many. During her final year at the nursing home, she became deeply loved by the nurses, staff, and residents who were fortunate enough to know her.

Mary enjoyed many of life's simple pleasures, including socializing, gardening, crocheting, coloring, listening to her beloved Portuguese music, dancing, and playing bingo, just to name a few. Most of all, she enjoyed life to the fullest and treasured the time she spent with her family.

Mary was married to the late Antonio Raposa whom she had two daughters. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Keller, and son-in-law, Ken Keller; her son-in-law, John Graca, husband of her late daughter, Dorothea Graca; and her grandsons, Andrew Keller and Matthew Keller and wife, Nathalia Keller.

Mary will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her. Her beautiful spirit, loving heart, laughter, and the memories of the wonderful life she shared with us will remain in our hearts forever. She was truly one of a kind.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Pk Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729. A prayer service will be held that same day, pending time.
