Maye Bouzas

Maye Bouzas, a beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully at home on May 27, 2023, surrounded by family. She was 75.

Born in New York City on May 30, 1947, Maye was the daughter of Valentin Cota and Adela Lameiro. 

Maye lived for her family. She was a loving mother to Jose J. (Diana Gilroy) Bouzas, Sara (Victor Gonzalez) Bouzas, Dolores Bouzas and Miguel (Alexandra) Bouzas. Her six grandchildren held a special place in her heart.

Maye was known for her kindness and gentleness. Her presence had the power to put anyone at ease even during difficult times. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, love, and generosity that will live on forever.

The visitation will take place at Deer Park- Mangano Family Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 31st from 3 PM to 8 PM. Friends and colleagues are welcome to pay their respects to one of the kindest souls they have ever known.

Maye has passed away, but she will never be forgotten. She lives on through her children, grandchildren, friends and community who were all touched by her compassion.

Rest in peace dear Maye - you will be truly missed.
