Merwin R. Still

Merwin R. Still, affectionately known as Merv, died on October 31, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on August 5, 1958, he will be remembered with love by those who knew him and by the family who shared in his life.

Merv was a devoted husband and family man. He shared more than 40 years of marriage with his wife, Loretta Still, a lasting partnership that stood at the center of his life. He is also survived by his son, Steven, and Steven’s wife, Paola; his daughter, Charlotte Still; his grandson, Cassius; and his sister, Virginia Staudt. Together, they carry forward his memory with gratitude, affection, and the many moments they shared with him.

He will be deeply missed by his family, whose lives were shaped by his presence and enduring place in their hearts. The love of his wife, children, grandson, and sister remains a lasting tribute to the life he lived and the bonds he cherished.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and again from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island, 640 Middle Country Road, Middle Island, New York 11953. Burial will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Union Cemetery, Middle Country Road, Middle Island, New York 11953.
