Michael A. Wallace, a beloved N.Y.C. Firefighter known for his kind and personality, passed away on August 3, 2024. Born on September 20, 1956, in New York, NY to his parents George and Mary. Michael dedicated his life to serving his community through his brave and selfless work as a firefighter.
During his career, Michael exemplified the true meaning of heroism, risking his life to save others in a time of crisis. His unwavering dedication and commitment to keeping others safe will always be remembered by those whose lives he touched.
Michael will be deeply missed by his surviving family members, his sister Mary (Rudy) Kohlroser, Barbara (Bob) Benney, his brother Tom (Jeanne) and his 15 nieces and nephews. Together they shared a bond that transcended time and brought joy to each other's lives.
A mass will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Our Lady of Lordes R.C. Church, beginning at 10:30AM
As we mourn the loss of Michael A. Wallace, let us also celebrate the legacy he leaves behind – one of courage, compassion, and service to others. May his memory live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
