Nancy Jane Fitzpatrick, passed away on July 5, 2024, at the age of 63. She was known for her kind and generous nature, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Nancy spent her early years in Westfield, NJ, and her High School years in Dix Hills, NY. She graduated from Marist College in 1982 and received her Master's degree from Hofstra University in Long Island. Throughout her career, Nancy served diligently within the New York State Court System, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to justice and fairness.
Beyond her professional life, Nancy will be most remembered for her deep love for her family. Her nieces and nephews held a special place in her heart, being the cherished lights of her life. Nancy took great joy in their achievements, especially celebrating their high school graduations by treating them to memorable trips.
Nancy is survived by Michael Fitzpatrick and his wife Margaret Fitzpatrick (Brother), Stephen Fitzpatrick and his wife Susan Fitzpatrick (Brother), Mary Ellen Genovese and her late husband Thomas Genovese (Sister), Richard Fitzpatrick and his wife Bing Fitzpatrick (Brother), Kathleen Jahde and her husband John Jahde (Sister), as well as nine beloved nieces and nephews and a great nephew.
Nancy's warmth and compassion extended beyond her family circle and touched the lives of many. Her presence will be greatly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Services to honor and remember Nancy Jane Fitzpatrick will be held at Saint Matthew's Roman Catholic Church, 35 N Service Road, Dix Hills, NY 11746 on Saturday, July 20th, 2024 at 9:45AM. Those who wish to attend the mass are asked to meet directly at church by 9:30AM. A burial will take place immediately after at Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Huntington, NY.
In this time of mourning, let us remember Nancy for the love she shared and the light she brought into the lives of those around her. May her memory be a comforting presence to all who knew her.
