Mary Hepner

With profound sadness and abiding respect, we announce the passing of Mary Hepner on July 1, 2026. Mary was born on September 7, 1951, to her parents George and Lucy. Throughout her life, she was a source of strength, warmth, and devotion to her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Mary is lovingly remembered by her husband, Charles Hepner Jr., who stood by her side with unwavering support. She leaves behind her cherished daughters, Andrea Hepner and Katy Hepner, each a reflection of Mary's dedication and loving spirit. Mary also is survived by her brothers, George and John, who shared in the bonds of family and friendship that she so deeply valued.

Throughout her life, Mary held family at the heart of all she did. Her kindness, resilience, and gentle guidance provided a strong foundation for her loved ones, and her legacy will be carried forward in their hearts and lives.

Family and friends are invited to honor Mary's memory at visitations to be held on Monday, July 6, 2026, at Mangano Family Funeral Home Of  Middle Island, located at 640 Middle Country Rd, Middle Island, NY 11953. The first visitation will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, and a second visitation will occur from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. During the evening visitation, a prayer service in remembrance of Mary will begin at 8:00 PM.

Mary Hepner’s life was marked by a profound love for her family and a steadfast devotion to those around her. As we remember her, we give thanks for her presence in our lives and hold close the memories she created. Her legacy of love, kindness, and integrity will endure in the hearts of all those who knew her.
