Nelly Healea

May 23, 1937 — Jul 28, 2026

Babylon Village, New York

With deep respect and fond remembrance, we honor the life of Nelly Healy, who passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026 at the age of 89 born on May 23, 1937 in the city of Quito, Ecuador to her parents, Alfonso and Lucrecia. Nelly's life was marked by a generous spirit, unwavering kindness and profound devotion to her family.

Nelly's journey through life was defined by her compassion and nurturing nature. Nelly treated everyone like family. She loved to entertain in her home the minute anyone walked in the door, she would offer you a drink and a bite to eat. There was always music playing, and she love to dance. She also had a love for the racetrack and the casinos. Nelly always had to look perfect when going out her hair and makeup had to be pristine. She was a woman of grace and strength and offered steadfast support and gentle wisdom to those around her the rest to the rest of the world. She was a wonderful, generous woman, but to our family, she was a heart of everything.

Nelly’s legacy lives on through her adoring family. She is survived by her devoted daughter Kim Wiszowaty and her husband John Wiszowaty. Her memory will also be carried forward by her grandchildren, Alexander and Matthew, who were constant sources of pride and happiness in her life.

She is reunited in peace with her dearly missed children, Jeffrey and Cheryl, whose memories have always been close to her heart.

Family, friends, and those whose lives were touched by Nelly are invited to share in the visitation, which will be held on July 31, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Pk Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729. A Mass in her honor will take place on August 1, 2026, from 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM at Saint Joseph R.C. Church, 39 N. Carll Ave, Babylon, NY 11702. Following the Mass, Nelly will be laid to rest at Saint Joseph Cemetery, 39 N Carll Ave, Babylon, NY 11702.

Nelly Healea’s kindness and loving presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy of care and devotion endures within those who were fortunate to know her.
