Nicholas "Chris" DiMarco

Nicholas "Chris" DiMarco, of Deer Park, New York passed away on August 7, 2023 in Bethpage, New York. He was born on August 28, 1935, in Brooklyn, New York to the late Nicholas and Consetta DiMarco. 

In addition to his career at Stella D'oro Bakery, Nicholas served his country with honor as a member of the United States Army. His dedication and commitment to protecting the values he held dear were commendable and will always be remembered.

Nicholas is survived by his loving spouse Diana DiMarco and their four children: Laura (Joseph) Caravella, Nicholas DiMarco, Joseph (Lillian) DiMarco, and Thomas (Desiree) DiMarco. He was also blessed with nine adoring grandchildren: Carolyn Caravella, Joseph Caravella, Nicholas Caravella, Maria (Austin) Hollister, Christina Caravella, Kayla Theuret, Alexandria (Brian) Dianas, Danielle DiMarco and Victoria DiMarco as well as his four great grandchildren: Lana Caravella, Jayden Caravella, Justin Caravella, and Rylee Hollister.

His immense love for family was evident in the strong bond he shared with each generation. From family gatherings filled with laughter to quiet moments of love and support during challenging times.

Visitation for Nicholas will be held at the Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729 on August 11, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

A prayer service will also be held on the same day at the Mangano Family Funeral Home at 8:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to come together to share their memories of Nicholas and find solace in their collective support.

Entombment will take place at 12:30 PM on August 12, 2023 at Pinelawn Memorial Park, located at 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735. 

Nicholas "Chris" DiMarco's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His dedication to his family, his service to his country, and his passion for baking will continue to inspire for generations to come. May he rest in eternal peace.
