Nicola Carone, has left a void in the hearts of those who knew and cherished him. Nicola passed away on March 21, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and kindness that will be fondly remembered.
Born in 1956, Nicola’s commitment to his role as a custodian extended beyond the walls of the school he served. His work ethic and warm smile brightened the days of many within the school community.
A small memorial to honor Nicola’s life will be held at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home in Deer Park, NY. A visitation is scheduled for April 14, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. A Prayer Service will be held at 4:00 PM on the same day.

Nicola moved to North Carolina and the full service will be held on April 20, 2024 at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center 405 S Main St, Wake Forest, NC 27587. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A prayer service will be held from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM the same day.
Nicola Carone is survived by his beloved spouse, Denise Carone, his loving daughter Victoria Wright (Michael Wright, son-in-law), his devoted son Andrew Carone, his grandchildren Michael Paul and Luca James. As well as his caring sister Maria Abbate, his supportive brother Frank Carone, and his loving sister Porzia Schnettler.
As we bid farewell to Nicola Carone, let us hold dear the memories we shared with him and carry forward the values of kindness and dedication that he embodied. May his soul rest in peace knowing that he was cherished by many whose lives he touched.
