Dix Hills, New York

With deep respect and profound sorrow, the family of Patricia A. Benoit announces her passing on July 16, 2026. Born on September 2, 1936, to her parents James and Helen. Patricia brought warmth and kindness to all whose lives she touched, leaving behind a legacy of love and enduring strength.

Patricia’s journey through life was marked by quiet determination and a generous spirit. She earned her high school diploma, an early achievement that reflected her dedication and hardworking nature. More significant than any accolade or milestone, though, were the relationships she nurtured with her beloved family.

Patricia was the cherished wife of the late Edward, her steadfast partner and companion. Together they built a family founded on love, understanding, and unwavering support. Patricia was a devoted mother to their four children: Mary, Lorraine, Edward, and Michelle. Each of her children carries forward her legacy—her warmth, sensitivity, and mindful guidance. The joy of family continued with her five grandchildren and one great-grandchildren, to whom she was a source of unconditional love and gentle wisdom.

Patricia’s presence was a beacon of care and dependability, and she will be remembered for her steadfast devotion to her family. Her memory shines brightly in the hearts of all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to honor Patricia’s life at a visitation on Monday, July 20, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mangano Family Funeral Home, 1701 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY.
