Patricia Clark Butler

Patricia Clark Butler, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026, at the age of 74 in Port Jefferson, NY. Born on January 7, 1952, in Hempstead, NY, Patricia lived a life dedicated to service, compassion, and family.

For many years, Patricia worked as a phlebotomist at Good Samaritan Hospital, a role through which she touched countless lives with her expertise and gentle approach. Her colleagues admired her dedication and professionalism, and she was known for her warm smile and reassuring demeanor that comforted patients during their visits.

She is survived by her loving husband, George Butler; her son, Michael, and his wife Theresa; and her cherished granddaughter, Elizabeth Butler. Patricia is also remembered by her brother Jack and sister Lynn, who held a special place in her heart.  She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Margaret Shand, whose love and guidance shaped her into the remarkable person she became.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Patricia's life at the Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island, NY, with visitation on January 19, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A Mass will be held in her honor at Saint Frances Cabrini RC Church in Coram, NY, on January 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM.

Patricia Clark Butler will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her unwavering love and support, her compassion for others, and the joy she brought to those fortunate enough to know her.
