Patrick F. Conlin

Patrick “Pat” Francis Conlin of Greenwich, New York, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2026, at the age of 81, surrounded by the love and care of his family.

Pat was born on July 16, 1945, in Homestead, Florida, to Anna and Pierre Conlin. His family later settled in Rego Park, New York, where he attended Delehanty High School and loved playing baseball and basketball in the neighborhood parks with his brothers and friends. Some of his happiest childhood memories were made during summers at Greenwood Lake, fostering a love of family time that he would carry throughout his life.

Pat spent his entire career with Bouchard Transportation Company. There, he earned the respect of his colleagues as a man of exceptional character and competence, who was kind, thoughtful, and accomplished. It was through the maritime industry that he met the love of his later life, Victoria Moccia, with whom he shared 25 devoted years.

Above all, Pat cherished his family. He remained close to his brothers, took great pride in his children and grandchildren, and embraced Victoria’s extended family as his own. To his grandchildren, he was lovingly known as PopPop.

Pat brought a lighthearted spirit wherever he went. He could be counted on to dance an Irish jig, cannonball into a swimming pool, or find some other way to bring laughter to a family gathering. He enjoyed playing golf, rooting for the New York Jets and New York Yankees, and spending time at The Thompson House in Windham, New York, carrying forward a legacy of family memories begun by his parents.

Pat was predeceased by his parents, Anne and Pierre Conlin, and his beloved life partner, Victoria Moccia.

He is survived by his brothers, Bill Conlin (Irene) and John Conlin (Cindy); his five children and their families: Sharon and Steve Delorme and their daughter, Hope; Cheryl Conlin and her children, Kayleigh Deschaine (Jake), Kristina Krause, and James Krause, and her grandchildren, Karleigh and Wyatt Deschaine and Amelia Krause; Kevin and Kathy Conlin; Brian Conlin and Bryson Bell and their son, Spencer; and Michael and Brittany Conlin and their children, Emily, Andrew, Matthew, and Brooke. He is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and dear friends.

Pat will be remembered for his warmth, humor, generosity, and steadfast love for those fortunate enough to call him family or friend. His was a life defined not simply by the years he lived, but by the laughter he inspired and the memories he leaves behind.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 13, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Mangano Funeral Home, 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, New York. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 14, at 10:15 a.m. at St. Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church in Deer Park. Following the Mass, Pat will be laid to rest at St. Charles Cemetery.
