With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Penny Ann Davis, born April 8, 1947. A lifelong member of the Coram Community, left this world on March 20, 2026. Penny’s life was a tapestry of compassion and dedication, woven through decades of selfless service as an LPN in healthcare, most recently serving as a Recreation Aide at Oasis Rehabilitation and Nursing Home. Her gentle touch and warm spirit brought comfort and joy to countless individuals, embodying a true calling to care and nurture.
Penny’s journey was marked not only by her devotion to her vocation but equally by the cherished bonds she cultivated with her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Clive Davis, whose memory she held close throughout her days, and a loving mother to her late daughter Beth Keating. Though these beloved family members have passed before her, their love remains an eternal part of Penny’s story.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience through her living family: her daughters, Tammy Partlow and Glenn Peterson, and Jill Kershaw and Bill Bozeman, son in law Ray Keating, who supported and loved her unconditionally. Penny’s spirit lives on vibrantly in her grandchildren—David, Christina, Jonathan, and Samantha—who carry forward her kindness and generosity. Her great-grandchildren, Phoebe and Lydia, add fresh light to the family tree, a testament to the enduring impact of her life’s warmth.
Visitation services to honor Penny’s memory will be held on March 26, 2026, at Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island, located at 640 Middle Country Rd, Middle Island, NY 11953. The visitation will be open from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, and again from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, allowing all who knew her to come together in remembrance and reflection.
The funeral service will convene on March 27, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM at the same funeral home, with the burial to follow at Washington Memorial Park, 855 Canal Road, Mount Sinai, NY 11766, at 11:00 AM.
Penny Ann Davis’s life was one of quiet strength and unwavering love, qualities that echoed through her work, her family, and all fortunate enough to know her. While her passing leaves an ache in the hearts of many, her memory shines brightly as a beacon of kindness and devoted care. May those who loved Penny find solace in the legacy she crafted—a life well-lived and a love deeply shared.
