Richard Winters Terry, Sr.

Richard Winters Terry, Sr, age 85, of Riverhead, passed away on Sunday, 02/21/2016, at Stony Brook University Hospital. He was born on December 19, 1930 to William L. Terry and Jeannette (nee: Gassert) in Riverhead. Richard was a graduate of Riverhead High School. He was a manager for Lebanon Chemical Corp. in Jamesport. He was a avid outdoors man, he loved camping, fishing, canoeing, his dogs and was a member of the Mattituck Gun Club. Richard loved to spend time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Carol Terry (nee:McKenney), beloved children Donna Terry, Linda (David) Fedun, Richard (Irene) Terry, devoted grandfather of 4 and great grandfather of 1, with one great grandchild on the way. He was predeceased by his brother George Terry (1979). Visitation for Richard will be on Wednesday, February 24th, 2:00 - 4:00 pm & 7:00 - 9:00 pm, at Tuthill - Mangano Funeral Home, in Riverhead. Funeral service will be Thursday morning 11:00 am at the funeral home.
