Rita Ann Aprigliano

Rita Ann Aprigliano, born on January 17, 1929, in Brooklyn, New York to her parents Costanino and Rachel Brunetti. Rita passed away at 96 years old on December 8, 2025, surrounded by the love and warmth of her cherished family. A beloved figure in their lives, Rita was known for her kind and caring nature, which left a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Throughout her life, Rita dedicated herself to her career as a devoted secretary, a role in which she exemplified commitment and professionalism. She took pride in her work and was admired by her colleagues.

Rita was a proud mother to her children: Eloise Ruiz, Nicholas Aprigliano, Janine Barone, and Rochelle Aprigliano. She delighted in her role as a grandmother to ten grandchildren and a great-grandmother to three great-grandchildren. The bond she shared with her family was profound, and she found immense joy in nurturing and supporting each one of them throughout their journeys in life. Rita also leaves behind one sister, whom she loved and supported throughout her life.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband, the Late Nickolas Aprigliano, whose memory she cherished dearly. 

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Rita at visitation services to be held at Mangano Family Funeral Home in Deer Park, New York, on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Saint Matthew in Dix Hills, New York, on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 10:45 AM.

Through her kindness and warmth, Rita Ann Aprigliano has left an indelible mark on the hearts of her loved ones, and her legacy will continue to live on through the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed, always remembered, and forever cherished.
