Robert Charles Baio, Sr.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Robert Charles Baio, Sr. on May 12, 2025, in Dix Hills, NY, at the age of 89. Born on May 12, 1936, in Brooklyn, NY, Robert lived a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to his family.

Robert shared over 60 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Rose (née Santora). Their union was a shining example of partnership and love, and it was evident to all who knew them. Together, they built a family filled with love and cherished memories.

In addition to his wife, Robert leaves behind a legacy of love through his son, Robert (Shirly), and daughter, Jennifer (Ralph Giordano), who are all testament to the kind of father he was. He embraced the role of a devoted grandfather to his precious granddaughter, Sofia Rose, who brought endless joy to his heart.

A compassionate and caring man, Robert's spirit resonated with all those around him. His family and friends will remember the warmth of his smile and the kindness he extended to everyone he met. His passion for life and his unwavering support for his family created a bond that will remain unbreakable, even in his absence.

The community is invited to celebrate Robert's life and to pay their respects during visitation hours at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY, on May 17, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and again on May 18, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A mass will be held on May 19, 2025, at Saint Matthew, located at 35 North Service Road, Dix Hills, NY, beginning at 9:30 AM, followed by a Mausoleum entombment at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury, NY, at 11:15 AM.
