Robert E. Jamieson, a dedicated Account Executive for NYNEX and a proud veteran of the United States Army Airborne 82nd Division, passed away on April 14, 2026. Born on July 15, 1938, in the Bronx, New York, Robert lived a life marked by service, commitment, and love for his family and community.
Robert’s journey began in the bustling streets of the Bronx, where he cultivated the values that would guide him throughout his life. His tenure at NYNEX was distinguished by professionalism and a steadfast dedication to his work, earning him respect and admiration from colleagues and clients alike. As an Army Airborne paratrooper & staff sergeant he exemplified courage and discipline, qualities that permeated both his military and civilian life.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, Kelley Jamieson, Joey Arena and his son Robert, each of whom carry forward his legacy of resilience and integrity. Robert was also a loving grandfather to one cherished grandchild, who brought joy and warmth to his later years. Additionally, he is remembered fondly by his sisters, Dorothy and Diana, who shared in the family’s bonds of love and support. He is also survived by his caring sister in law, Joanne Cesario.
Services to honor Robert’s life will be held at Mangano Family Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue in Deer Park, NY 11729. The visitation is scheduled for April 19, 2026, with two sessions from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. These gatherings offer an opportunity for friends, family, and all who knew Robert to pay their respects and celebrate a life well lived.
