Robert Maciejewski

It is with deep respect and solemn remembrance that we announce the passing of Robert Maciejewski, born April 5, 1937, in Brooklyn, New York, and who left this life on May 18, 2026, in Ridge, New York. Robert lived a life marked by dedicated service—to his country, his community, and those around him—and his memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

Robert was a proud Army veteran, having served his country faithfully from 1956 to 1959. His commitment to duty during this formative period in his life laid a foundation of discipline and honor that would accompany him throughout his years. Following his military service, Robert worked with steadfast dedication as a security professional at Waldbaum's supermarket in Central Islip, NY. His role was much more than simply a job; it was a daily expression of his protective nature and his concern for the safety and well-being of others within his community.

The family has arranged for services to honor Robert’s life and memory. Visitation will take place on May 21, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island, located at 640 Middle Country Road, Middle Island, NY 11953. 

Robert Maciejewski’s life was marked by duty—military, professional, and personal. He leaves behind a legacy of service and steadfastness, along with the enduring love of his wife, Janet. His presence will be deeply missed, yet his memory remains a source of strength and inspiration. May he rest in peace.
