Roger A. Arrigali, Jr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away courageously at home on December 6, 2025, in North Babylon, New York, at the age of 88. Born on January 13, 1937, in Brooklyn, New York, Roger lived a life marked by dedication and service.
A proud Navy veteran, Roger served his country with honor before embarking on a career with the New York City sanitation department, where he contributed many years of hard work to the city's well-being. His professional life was a reflection of his strong work ethic and commitment to his community, values he instilled in his family.
Roger was an avid sports fan and followed the NY Mets, Knicks and Rangers. He also loved his thoroughbred racing.
Roger's legacy is carried on through his beloved spouse, Antoinette Arrigali, and their children, Roger Arrigali III and his wife Eileen, and Madelyn Arrigali Simmons and her husband David. He was also a cherished grandfather to his grandchildren, Anthony and Francesco, who brought him immense joy. He is further survived by his siblings Andy, Amelia, and Carl. Roger was predeceased by his parents, Roger and Madeline Arrigali and hs brothers Vincent and Ronald. Roger is remembered for his kindness, humor, and the warmth he brought into the lives of those around him. He was a pillar of strength for his family and a source of inspiration for many. He always was known for his immense love and kindness to his family and friends and devoted much of his time to helping all those he cared for.
Visitation services will be held at the Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY 11729. Visitation will occur on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, and again on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
