Ronald Haszto

Ronald Haszto, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on October 11, 1947, in Queens, New York to his parents Julian and Christine Haszto. Ronald lived a life marked by dedication, kindness, and an unwavering love for his family.

Throughout his career at Grumman, Ronald exemplified a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues. His accomplishments were a testament to his diligence and professionalism, qualities that he carried with him into all aspects of his life.

Ronald's family meant everything to him; he cherished his wife, Anne Haszto, and took immense pride in being a father to his daughters, Kristie Terracciano and Marisa Haszto. He deeply appreciated their spouses, David Terracciano and Mike Cashman, treating them as beloved members of the family. Ronald’s most treasured role, however, was that of grandfather to Cooper, whom he adored and delighted in watching grow.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during visitation at Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY. The visitation will take place on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A Mass in Ronald's memory will be held the following day, Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, located at 125 Half Hollow Road, Deer Park, NY, starting at 10:15 AM. 

Ronald Haszto will be remembered not just for his achievements, but for the love and joy he brought to the lives of those around him. His legacy of compassion and devotion will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
