Ronald Michael Yuhas

Ronald Michael Yuhas, a dedicated and beloved member of his family and community, passed away on August 16, 2025, in Coram, NY, at the age of 83. Born on August 10, 1942, in the Bronx, NY, Ronald was a cherished son of Michael and Rose Yuhas. He lived a life marked by dedication, service, and an unwavering love for his family.

Ronald’s professional journey led him to an esteemed career in telecommunications services, where he worked at Brookhaven National Labs in Upton, NY. His contributions to the field were significant, and he earned the respect and admiration of colleagues and peers alike.

Family was at the heart of Ronald's life. He is survived by his loving children: Ronald J. Yuhas (son), Donna Marie McGrane and her husband Kevin (daughter), and Guy Michael Yuhas and his wife Leslie (son). His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Angelina, Guy, Gionna, Michael, Mariah, Jenna, and Kayla; and great-grandchildren: Avya, Sofia, Niko, and Ella. Ronald shared a special bond with his sister, Joanne Rigores, who deeply valued their relationship. Ronald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Claire Elizabeth Yuhas and his parents, Michael and Rose Yuhas.

A visitation honoring Ronald will take place on August 20, 2025, at Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island in Middle Island, NY, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, and again from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Friends, family, and all whose lives Ronald touched are welcome to come together to celebrate his life. Ronald will be laid to rest the following day, Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Pinelawn Memorial Park, in East Farmingdale, NY
