Rosa Cuoco Petrizzo

Rosa Cuoco Petrizzo, a beloved hairdresser in Deer Park, New York, passed away on August 2, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on December 22, 1952, in Italy, Rosa brought her indomitable spirit and passion for beauty to her work, where she became a cherished member of her community.

Rosa's early life laid the foundation for her many achievements. After graduating from high school, she honed her craft as a hairdresser, developing a loyal clientele who admired not just her skill but also her warm personality. Rosa is survived by her loving husband, Michele Petrizzo, her son Joseph Petrizzo and his wife Dana, and her daughters Antonia Daly and Francesca Petrizzo. The family was a source of joy and pride for her, and she took great joy in being the grandmother to her seven grandchildren, who brought light into her life.  Rosa was predeceased by her parents, Antonio and Francesco Cuoco, whose memories she cherished throughout her life. Rosa's spirit and dedication to her family and profession will be remembered by all who knew her.

A memorial gathering to honor Rosa's memory will take place on August 9, 2025, at the Mangano Family Funeral Home in Deer Park from 1:00PM to 4:00PM, with a prayer service starting at 3:00 PM. Friends, family, and all who wish to pay their respects are invited to gather and celebrate the life of this remarkable woman. Rosa Cuoco Petrizzo leaves behind an enduring legacy of love and service.
