Rosa Puleo (1934 – 2026)
Rosa Puleo, age 91, and longtime resident of Deer Park, New York, died, on June 21, 2026.
Rosa Fontana was born in Bagheria, Province of Palermo, Italy to her parents Rosario and Lazzarone Maria on December 13, 1934.
Rosa later married Thomas A. Puleo of Brooklyn, New York and mother to two daughters, Catherine and MaryJo Puleo.
Rosa was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Thomas A. Puleo, and daughter, Catherine C. Kole.
She is survived by MaryJo Puleo, her son-in-law, Walter J. Kole, two grand-daughters, Ashley R. Kole and Lindsay B. Kole, and one great grandson Onyx Carter Genthe-Kole.
Wake services will be held on June 23, 2026 from 6pm to 9pm at Mangano Family Funeral
Home in Deer Park, NY. Internment ceremony at Pinelawn Cemetery will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2026.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Breakthrough TD1.
