Roseann Munch (née Calabrese), passed away on October 4, 2026, in Port Jefferson, New York. She was born on July 29, 1947, in Brooklyn, New York, and will be remembered with deep love by all who knew her.
At the heart of Roseann’s life was her family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Paul G. Munch of Coram, New York, with whom she shared a life centered on love and devotion. She also leaves behind her children, Steven Munch (Vicky), Brian Munch (Kathleen) and Laurie Dziadowicz (John). Her love continued through the next generation in her six cherished grandchildren, Sophia, Isabella, Austin, Jack, Julia, and Beckham, each of whom held a special place in her heart. She is also survived by her sister, Elizabeth Mazzara.
Roseann was preceded in death by her father, Vito Calabrese, her mother, Philomena Calabrese (née Forto) and her brother, Anthony Calabrese. Their memory remained part of the story of her life, and now she is reunited with those who went before her.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Roseann on Thursday, October 8, 2026, for visitation from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island, 640 Middle Country Road, Middle Island, New York. A wake service will be held there at 3:00 PM. A Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 11:15 AM at RC Church of the Resurrection, 50 Granny Road, Farmingville, New York, followed by burial at 12:30 PM at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Boulevard, Calverton, New York.
Roseann’s memory will live on in the love of her family, in the lives of her children and grandchildren, and in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
