Salvatore F. Cavarra

Salvatore F. Cavarra, born on April 20, 1943, in Italy, passed away on May 13, 2025. He was a man of deep integrity and warmth, cherished by those who knew him.

Salvatore was devoted to Margaret, the love of his life. He proudly introduced family into his life, including his treasured nephews Francesco, Giuseppe, Frank, and Charles, as well as his beloved nieces Rosaria and Diana. His legacy is further carried on by his great nephews Nicholas, Giovanni, and Michael, along with his great nieces Ariana, Giovanna, Brittany, and Lauren.

Salvatore was preceded in death by his mother Marietta and father Francesco, as well as his brothers, Corrado and Carmelo. Their memories continue to shape the lives of those he leaves behind.

Visitation services will be held at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY 11729, on May 16, 2025. The first session will commence at 2:00 PM and conclude at 4:00 PM, with a second visitation scheduled from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A further visitation will take place the following day, starting at 8:15 AM until 8:45 AM.

On May 17, 2025, a funeral service will be conducted at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, located at 125 Half Hollow Road, Deer Park, NY 11729, beginning at 9:15 AM. He will then be laid to rest during a burial at Saint Charles Cemetery, situated at 2015 Wellwood Avenue, East Farmingdale, NY 11735, at 10:30 AM.

Salvatore F. Cavarra will be remembered for his kindness, commitment to family, and the love he shared throughout his life. He leaves behind a profound legacy that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
