Shirley A. Bonaparte, a beloved and member of her community, has passed away at the age of 84. She was born on July 7th, 1939 in Port Jefferson Village, NY and took her last breath on November 22nd, 2023 in Medford, NY.

Shirley lived a fulfilling life, defined by her unwavering dedication and commitment as a custodian at Stony Brook University. Her career spanned many years, during which she touched the lives of countless students and faculty members. Shirley's diligence and attention to detail were exceptional traits that made her an invaluable asset to the university.

Despite not pursuing higher education, Shirley was an advocate for knowledge and always encouraged others to strive for success. A memorial gathering to celebrate Shirley's life will be held on December 2nd, 2023 at the Mangano Family Funeral Home Of Middle Island located at 640 Middle Country Rd, Middle Island, NY, United States. The gathering will commence at 2:00 PM and conclude at 5:00 PM. This will be an opportunity for loved ones to come together, share stories, and find solace in each other's support.
