Simone was a proud union plumber, a career that not only reflected his strong work ethic but also positioned him as a trusted craftsman in his field. He was a graduate of high school, having laid a solid educational foundation that supported his professional ambitions. His commitment to service extended beyond the local community; he also proudly served in the Army, contributing to the defense and betterment of his country.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Simone had a wealth of hobbies that brought him joy and relaxation. He loved sailing, a pastime that allowed him to connect with nature and savor the serene waters. Cooking was another passion of his, where he showcased his culinary skills and shared delightful meals with family and friends. He enjoyed playing bocce, engaging in friendly competition while fostering camaraderie. Simone is survived by his daughter, Gina M. Sahin, and his sons, Leonard Martoscia and John Martoscia. He was a proud grandfather to Alex Martoscia, Thomas Martoscia, and James Sahin, and welcomed the joy of a great-grandchild, Jolyne Sahin. His sisters—Gloria (Evan) Mincelli, Lily Tizzano, and Jean Insana—also carry forward his memory.

Simone joins his late wife, Jennie Martoscia, in eternal rest, along with his parents, Leonardo and Margarita Martoscia, and his brothers, Leonard and Philip Martoscia, as well as his sister, Anne Arnedos. Their memories will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved Simone Alfred Martoscia. His presence will be profoundly missed, yet his spirit will continue to inspire those he touched throughout his remarkable life.
