Steven J. Caturano

Steven J. Caturano, a beloved member of the Deer Park community, passed away on July 1, 2025, at the age of 55. Born on October 20, 1969, in Brooklyn, New York to his parents John and Carmela. Steven was a man who embodied kindness and compassion throughout his life. He is remembered for his caring nature and the deep connections he forged with family and friends.

A proud graduate with a high school diploma, Steven dedicated many years of his professional life to King Kullen in Huntington, NY, where he was not only a diligent employee but also a cherished colleague. 

Steven’s greatest joy stemmed from the time he spent with his family. He prioritized his loved ones above all else, creating an environment filled with warmth and laughter. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who had the fortune to share in his life.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janet, who was his steadfast partner through the years. Steven is the proud father of Steven Caturano, who will carry forward his father’s values of kindness and care. Additionally, he is survived by his siblings: his sister, Jennie Tufano, and her husband Anthony; his brothers, Thomas Caturano, John Caturano, and Vincent Caturano.  Steven is predeceased by his parents John and Carmela.

Steven J. Caturano will be profoundly missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew him. His spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to call him family or friend.
