It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Susanna Vergules, a cherished nurse aide, dedicated piano teacher, and beloved family member, who left this world on November 26, 2025, in West Islip, New York. Born on August 15, 1936, in Moldova, Russia, Susanna's life was a testament to kindness, passion, and unwavering dedication to those she loved.

Throughout her career, Susanna generously touched the lives of many as she cared for her patients with compassion and grace. Her talents extended beyond medicine, for her love of music found expression in her work as a piano teacher. She inspired countless students with her joyous spirit and unwavering patience, imparting not just skills but a lifelong appreciation for the beauty of music.

Susanna was a proud mother to her two beloved children, Diana and Igor, and a treasured mother-in-law to Rodika. She delighted in the joy of being a grandmother to her grandsons, Andre and Alex, who brought light and laughter into her life. The memories they created together will forever be etched in their hearts, as they carry forward the legacy of love that Susanna so beautifully cultivated.

In her quiet moments, Susanna found solace and entertainment in her tablet, indulging in her favorite shows. She equally adored her time with Tara and Luna, Diana’s two wonderful dogs, who were more than pets; they were companions that brought her joy and comfort.

Susanna is also remembered as a loving sister to Felix, who shared in the joys and challenges of family life. Her loving husband Yakov Vergules, who passed before her, is fondly remembered as her life partner, with whom she built a loving home filled with warmth and support.

The loss of Susanna is felt deeply by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering support for her family and friends will continue to resonate in the lives she touched.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on November 28, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729. A funeral service will be held on November 29, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM, also at the same location, culminating in a burial service at 11:30 AM at North Babylon Cemetery on Livingston Street.
